CardFolio is a Spanish app to manage your card collection (Pokémon, One Piece, Magic, soccer, NBA…) and analyze cards with AI. The price pages on this site show the same figures as the app: we currently track 20488 cards across 22 games. Here is where they come from and what we do to keep them honest.
Where the prices come from
Raw price: each card's market price on the main stores and marketplaces, updated daily. For cards without one, we use recent real sales of that exact card.
Graded prices (PSA 9, PSA 10…): real sales of graded cards recorded by services that specialize in the card market.
Currency: most of the market trades in US dollars. Prices are converted with the European Central Bank's daily exchange rate.
How we avoid showing a wrong price
Every version on its own: normal, holo, reverse, first edition and special patterns each have their own price and chart. We never show another version's price.
Same card, checked: number, set and name must match. If a source returns a different card, it is dropped.
Odd data filtered out: prices copied between different cards, a single sale far above the rest, a PSA 10 cheaper than the raw card… none of it reaches the pages or rankings.
When in doubt, nothing: if we are not sure about a price, we would rather not show it. That is why some cards have no price or no chart.
What they are not
They are reference market prices, not an appraisal or a buy offer. The raw price assumes a card in good condition. And they are not investment advice.
How we make money
CardFolio is funded by the app's paid plans (AI analysis and fake detector). Some eBay links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy, we earn a commission at no cost to you. It never changes a price or the order of the cards.
